I objectively can because I'm scanning items as I'm pulling it off of the shelf and putting it in a bag in my cart. When I get to the self-check out area I scan 1 QR code and leave. It takes maybe 30 seconds.
Your average person isnt doing this and this isnt something you can do at any store. Youre also putting in more work doing this and putting yourself in a position to be accused of theft every time.
