Republicans don't want Muslim support so they would do nothing to win those voters.
It doesn't matter if they don't win those voters. All that matters to them is that they don't vote Biden. They were never going to get them to vote Republican, but them choosing to just abstain from voting Biden in tight races is basically a net victory for them.
