Started out a little slow but once it picked up, they flipped on the cruise control and kept a healthy pace all the way through the end. Mia Goth is gorgeous and sensuous and does a great job, as do all the actors really.I thought it an interesting critique of affluent tourist culture.
Only gripes -they didn't really explore the themes too much. I started wondering about whether he was the original James or not, they actually have a scene discussing that which you would think would be setting everything up for later, and then ... they kinda drop it in favor of a more subtle approach. I guess in typing this I came to appreciate the ending a bit more.

I feel they explored thecloning thing pretty well. I think it was pretty clear we weren't following the same guy the whole time (like at one moment his face is hurt and then it isn't). And I personally think one clone went home but the clone (or real guy) that had committed the horrible acts couldn't live with himself and decided he didn't deserve to go home.
Jaaaaaames! What are you doing in there Jaaaaames! You little baby!omg her acting was fantastic.
Not my cup of tea and tbh except for Jeff Goldlum's The Fly, neither are any other cronenberg movies. The father or the son. They both have that weird subdued tone that refuses to spike and just sort of ends. It's a different Cronenberg though. lol
I am sure he'll start coming into his own in time. Just looked up Possessor and it sounds creepy as shit, added it to my watchlist.
Add Antiviral to your list as well. Celebrity meat!Added, thanks. I was on the fence about adding it, the description made it sound rather disgusting and since it's one of his earlier movies I had some doubts.

I've been eying True Blood, is it good? Feel like I need something to scratch the itch after Supernatural endeddefinitely good if you dont mind a little camp here and there
is it a torture movie like saw?No, it's more of a psychological thriller about rich people getting away with crimes.
