I remember. I never got any even when they were supposed to give everyone one.Lol I remember when I was the new kid and nobody got me one. So then all the kids who didn't get one from a person got one from the school. I don't know what's worse. Not getting one at all or getting a pity one to not make you feel like a lover, which in turn makes you feel like a loser.
I dont remember anyone ever getting picky at my school, though maybe I just never paid attention lol. I think the last time anyone gave them out was like the first year of middle school.
Yeah, it was easily like 3rd or 4th grade where some girls were only giving them to friends. Same with the guys really.I had to do this back in the 80's in Christian school, except we had to give everyone in our class a card so no one felt left out. Made it really awkward in some cases where giving boys cards that said "I love you" or "Will you be mine?" were the only options I had.
Dumping a girl on Valentine's Day because you didn't like the way people were talking about the two of you being together sounds like something my teenage self would do. And my adult self would spend the rest of my life beating up my teenage self for being so stupid.I literally just left that topic about the hot ones before making my post. Seeing your post made me think I posted in the wrong topic lol.
I remember in middle school/junior high school when you could pay $1 or so to give a lollipop to someone. The cool kids would get a ton. Most I ever got was 1 and that was because I was dating the giver.Yep lol, they were teddy bear shaped lollipops
