Remember the year they got picky and started playing favorites? Feels bad man.
"You're made of spare parts, aren't ya, bud?"
You guys got cards?
My maid will hear about this.
I dont remember anyone ever getting picky at my school, though maybe I just never paid attention lol. I think the last time anyone gave them out was like the first year of middle school.
I remember. I never got any even when they were supposed to give everyone one.

Lol I remember when I was the new kid and nobody got me one. So then all the kids who didn't get one from a person got one from the school. I don't know what's worse. Not getting one at all or getting a pity one to not make you feel like a lover, which in turn makes you feel like a loser.
Italian, French, German.
i saw some gen 5 mlp cards that go with'pal-entine' and you know i only hate it a little

Yeah, it was easily like 3rd or 4th grade where some girls were only giving them to friends. Same with the guys really.

Never had the "picky" thing at my school, but I've heard that's a thing now. If anything, you worried about missing someone when I was a kid.

I had to do this back in the 80's in Christian school, except we had to give everyone in our class a card so no one felt left out. Made it really awkward in some cases where giving boys cards that said "I love you" or "Will you be mine?" were the only options I had.
Without truth, there is nothing.
we did it in my elementary school. i've spoken to people from other countries that say they don't even really celebrate valentine's day and even they did it in their schools as kids, too. so it seems to be an international thing.

i remember spending a lot of time one year making sure everyone got one. i don't recall exactly what happened (i probably got nothing in return lol) but it felt like it wasn't worth it and i never gave any after that. good times ... ...

We had a rule that if you brought a valentine for anyone, you had to bring them for the whole class.

I remember that, I think elementary school was what made me such a sucker for all the holidays

I remember in middle school/junior high school when you could pay $1 or so to give a lollipop to someone. The popular kids would get a ton. Most I ever got was 1 and that was because I was dating the giver.

Dumping a girl on Valentine's Day because you didn't like the way people were talking about the two of you being together sounds like something my teenage self would do. And my adult self would spend the rest of my life beating up my teenage self for being so stupid.
I literally just left that topic about the hot ones before making my post. Seeing your post made me think I posted in the wrong topic lol.

Lol I have no idea how I ended up posting that in the wrong topic.
Simple questions deserve long-winded answers that no one will bother to read.
I choo choo choose you!
You're never ever fully dressed without a smile!
Some of the "rich" kids gave out cards with those boxes of chalky hearts attached.

It was a big deal picking out your cards. Had to represent your personality, but you had to be careful not to look goofy with stuff like a WWE pack.

Yeah, when I was a kid everyone got one. No one was picky or anything.
Many Bothans died to bring you this post.
