Megami Tensei 2 for the NES really does have a stellar soundtrack >_>

This game is awesome and I think it's better than SMT1 imo. Plus the soundtrack is amazing for a NES game since it has a custom soundchip

The SNES remake is probably the most accessible way to play it since the gameplay is more streamlined, but the art style is inferior and the music is a huge stepdown from the NES version because they decided to mute a lot of the oomph for some reason.
