4 million dollars after taxes, or an 80% discount on everything for life?

Does the 80% discount include stocks and real estate? Anyone can buy and sell stock, and having the ability to sell at 4-5x the price you just bought it for... can obviously generate millions of dollars a day, assuming you don't get arrested for it.
