Recently a girl made a tiktok video about me, I'm 21 and going to college right now. I'm a short Mexican guy (Lol) in a small city that is mostly tall white guys. She made a short video with the caption "I didn't know they make them like this" and it was her filming me while I was waiting to get picked up.
Towards the end she flips her phone to show her covering her mouth and laughing. I only found out because a guy that I have classes with and have helped out with homework texted me the video to warn me.
Normally, something like this wouldn't bother me so much, but it's gaining traction and my city really isn't that big. What do i do if people start making fun of me or if they start distancing themselves from me?
why are women like this
Men can be spiteful pieces of shit tooThis is a deflection
This is a deflection
If it causes actual problems in life he could just sue her and ACTUALLY ruin hers.
People really shouldn't criticize others for their appearance.now the guy's life is pretty much ruined and in shambles. All because a cloutchaser decided that likes and followers is more important than humanity.
Provided he has the money and time.Unless you're a celebrity, most of those cases are settled out of court very quickly.
now the guy's life is pretty much ruined and in shambles. All because a cloutchaser decided that likes and followers is more important than humanity.Yes, it is extremely common for people to mock others for how they look, and it isn't nice in any context.
and then people wonder why individuals are more likely to not have friends as they get older. or to be shut ins. Because current generation is basically "exposing" normal people and mocking them with their huge follow count.

It's not a problem to call out problematic behavior on anyone's end, just it's just as unhelpful to single it out to just one gender as trivialbeing did.it doesn't take away from the fact that she ruined his life. going "but x does it too" is irrelevant and is just a tactic to shy blame away from the main perpetrator.

When it comes to social media stuff like this... nah definitely more likely a girl to do something like thisEh, it's not like there aren't plenty of men making fun of women for the size of their breasts or the arse. Mocking their body shape. Expressing disgust if they aren't conventionally attractive.

This. People like to put others down to feel good about themselves. They like hurting other people just for their own personal amusement. This isn't a gendered thing.ok.jpg
Not true. There's plenty of viral videos of men making fun of women for various things. You probably notice it more as a guy but there's many videos about how "ditzy, stupid, etc." women can be. That being said, it doesn't justify this. Body shaming is a massive problem in our current society and needs to stop. It needs to be taken as seriously as physical bullying.
Men can be spiteful pieces of shit tooOk but this topic is about something a woman did.
Ok but this topic is about something a woman did.
Ok but this topic is about something a woman did.that person is responding to someone complaining about women as a whole as if this is a women thing
so we even have proof this story is true
now the guy's life is pretty much ruined and in shambles
So limit the insults to this particular woman, not "typical women", "why women hating", etc.I agree. But the response to women hating shouldn't be man hating. It should be telling the women hater to stfu
plus even if this story is true, his life isn't anywhere close to being ruinedBeing put on blast on social media for thousands of people to laugh at you, and having less job opportunities due to being viral(for the wrong reasons) says otherwise.

how many millions is the cash me outside girl worth these days?you need actual personality and/or content to be able to maintain publicity. It's like some stranger randomly making fun of what your mom wears, on tiktok. She's not equipped for the horrors of social media and she may not care for clout. She just wants to live a normal life but can't because some demon exposes or puts her face out there to be made fun of.
the guy got free publicity, it's better to use it than complain about it

This situation practically destroyed his life forever because he has tons of people making fun of him in her tiktok platform. and yes, you can search the thread on google to find it originally on reddit
This situation practically destroyed his life forever because he has tons of people making fun of him in her tiktok platform. and yes, you can search the thread on google to find it originally on redditYou keep saying his life has been "destroyed" even though the guy in question hasn't said that, and is only talking about concerns that could happen later (all of which are pretty minor).
Remember when I talked about how men will make viral videos and slam on ditzy women? Just 16 hours later a thread was made using an infamous speech from miss carolina that has been circulating for 17 years >.>
Just a quick but recent example that occurred 16 hours later.

There are people who love videos that showcase "dumb" women. Just most men don't notice how frequently it happens because it isn't about them and they aren't the target.
Not attacking you or your position. Just thought it funny I got a perfect example not 24 hours later :P
Edit:
Didn't check the thread date just me noticing it. Looks like it's a bit older than this topic.
