I like Nu Metal. Its probably the genre I listen to the most currently. System of a Down is my favorite band. I like Deftones, Coal Chamber, Mudvayne, Soil, Flaw, Snot, Taproot, etc.
Shit, I can even do some Korn and Slipknot from time to time.
I get why its a widely hated genre, I really do. But god damn it, I cant explain why but I legit enjoy it. Its time for me to be honest about it, with all of you, and more importantly, myself.

Mudvayne is still one of my favorite bands and I will still throw L.D. 50 or The End of all things to come and just get it as loud as I can.Mudvayne is dope, their first 3 albums especially are all fucking amazing, havent listened to their more recent stuff quite as much tho.
Static X was another big favorite of mine.
I'm glad the Rap/Rock thing has came back in style with bands like Falling in Reverse. Hell even Papa Roach is making new music that's pretty good. So if you're looking for new music in the same style, I believe the genre it's in now is just "Hard Rock" and Nu-Metal only refers to bands that were part of that initial wave in the early 00s.

Soad is an all time favorite of course, but I always felt they didn't belong to any genre. Ther always felt like their own thing.
