There was one time I had dinner last week and it wasn't even that much food (maybe 1.5k calories if we're estimating everything on the high end but probably closer to 1k) and afterwards I felt super stuffed like I had eaten 6k calories in one sitting. Was weird.
i got full off eating a small bag of Haribo peaches as a snack. I only ate like 4 and my tummy was like "no more" even though by all means relative to my body i barely ate anything that day besides 3 chicken strips, water, and that.

I think my stomach is shrinking and my body is just expecting that i'll generally eat a lot less than I used to lol
