In the film A Few Good Men, Demi Moore's character uses the phrase in an objection, and then it's pointed out that it's a meaningless phrase that only serves to make them look bad to the court. The purpose is to highlight how inexperienced she is as a trial lawyer, which makes it completely hilarious that these Trump lawyers are using it now.
Damn, now I feel silly, I wish I'd caught that (for some reason I've only ever seen the latter half of AFGM). Thanks for the explanation.
