So soft goth is basically what the emo mall fashion trend tried to do. I really actually got pissed that mall emo was ever skinny jeans.

Also emo didn't need a fashion statement just play what you want and act in a way. Sunny Day Real Estate just looked like guys in normal clothing. Slight Seattle grunge but not trying to stand out.

As I lament and complain scene fashion is pretty fun and wild, I just don't believe a wholesale fashion is needed for music.

I got lucky I found out who Sunny Day Real Estate was in 2000, of course my older brother gave me no respect for that. But them and Depechce Mode shifted my idea of music thoughts.

Diary was a revelation.

I feel like Diary has a few songs that meander but overall what a revelation in rock music and if you see the videos. Pheurton Skeutorto has no reason to exist than a throwaway like Radiohead song, ok.... here we go.
