Maybe it's because I grew up with The Simpsons but I don't really mind the creative borrowing of plots, settings, characters, and so on from established properties.

Just kinda sad some folks have to make noise to validate their own opinion to make themselves feel good (kinda like this topic here)

Joker was a fine movie and still fit with that in comics, that dude's backstory is still multiple-choice, so it's gonna fit due to just being another interpretation that works.

That's not even what it is. Its just a comedy skit that pokes fun at it some.

Theres a bunch of others where hes firing members of the Justice League. Batman firing The Batman is the best one in the series imo. They're inspired by their earlier series where he played Proffessor Xavier and he's firing the Xmen
I don't believe in belts. There should be no ranking system for toughness.

Joker was a good movie, though I would say I think it is also pretty overrated. Joaquin Phoenix does an incredible job, but he's sort of carrying the much weaker everything-that-isn't-around-Joaquin-Phoenix of the rest of the movie.
