Had enough of stupid Einstein looking hair. Its not going to grow good ever again so decided to shave the lot off. It was too thin and pubey and time to admit its gone.

So how do you deal with the immediate aftermath?

Firstly sleeping is weird because it feels uncomfortable. It doesnt hurt but its kinda spikey and rubs in the pillow kinda like Velcro and uncomfortable.

Also its damn cold as well. Should invest in a decent hat.

That's kind of how my hair was before I shaved it, and I couldn't stop looking at myself afterwards.

Bald looked so much better than the haircut I hated having.

please god do not "invest" in a hat, that has terrible implications.

just get a beanie or something. ballcap or flatbrim or something for the warmer months.

you could get higher thread count pillow cases for the velcro effect, or just wait a few days for it to tame itself.

agreed. beard too. i feel like the normal suggestion is "if you have to shave your head, grow a beard" but honestly i think having neither is your best look.

Not insecure. Its just fucking cold outside. We had minus 8 a few weeks back. Maybe I should have waited a few months.

Nobody really cares in winter.

Summer is the unpleasant bit. Unless there's a breeze, you become uncomfortably aware of how much head sweat your hair used to absorb.

the beard not doing you any favors tbh based on any of these pics, but it is short in all of them. if it fills out more with length, maybe try it. otherwise keep the short stubble.

the two pics in the "After" post are cute, keep that up.

I don't shave it, but my hair cut at the barber is a #1 cut all around.

Well my body retains heat easier and not always for the best, but I have coats with a good hood. Plus my hair grows back fast.

Nice. I just started buzzing mine. I use the 2mm guard so it's short enough to look good but still long enough to be soft and not prickly.

its super easy to just do yourself with clippers that cost like $30
