The baseball game is from Baseball All Stars, it is extremely popular in Japan. One of the only Konami games that is active and not in the Bemani, QMA, MFC, or Bombergirl series.

I also didn't know that Konami ran Sports Clubs and gyms too >_> I was surprised to see that when I was over in Japan. Are they any good?

Round One is basically a Dave and Busters, but with bowling, karaoke, sports, and arcade games. However, the arcade games are mostly Bemani stuff and the others I listed above, and each year, there are less of the , because they make more money from UFO catchers. These games almost all have PC versions now.

Its kind of cool, but only if you are into that stuff.

God, those UFO catchers are such a scam lol. I spent 500 yen on one and got nothing. Apparently they're programmed to only do a "strong" grip on the prize after a certain amount of plays >_> The gachapon machine at least give you something everytime

True. Its like slot machines. You can actually go into the machine and change the grip strength, percentage of grip, etc.

Thats how US claw machines work too and its even worse because they pile prizes on top of each other, so the one you want might be trapped or become trapped at any moment.

I spent 3 years in Japan and got very good at UFO catchers. The most important part of the process is watching other people play and gauging how close the machine is to a win. Theres a bunch of other tricks (dont go for round toys), but thats the basic one if you want to avoid wasting a fortune. Luckily, watching other people play games is like a national pastime over there, so you dont feel weird about it.

Man, I haven't even touched Ultimate in like 4 years. Loved playing it but not having NSO didn't give me a reason to keep playing.

I've been getting a lot of use out of that anyway recently from playing Pokemon Stadium and Dr. Mario 64 with my little brother. Worth way more to me than that

Well, it may not cost a lot, but 3DS and Wii/U online were free and NSO still has terrible netcode. Also I can't justify the cost of NSO because I just don't have any games besides Ultimate and Pokemon I'd play online.

Yeah, it being a three-star difficulty is hilarious considering it gave me more trouble than most Legendaries. I just used Pyra because of her power and speed compared to Ganondorf.
