I'm in the process of getting my MBA and I'm constantly bombarded with invitations to apply to certain positions. Found one that was up my alley and applied for shits and giggles.

Interview goes well, position sounds appealing, office is in a excellent location, two days of at home work a week. We get to the end of the interview and she brings up what kind of compensation I'm looking for. I tell her what I make and then she hits me with "oh this position starts at [10-15 thousand less]... But we'd love for you to continue the application process and maybe there's a possibility with your experience you could be placed in a senior analyst role"

Should I even bother? I'd have to take an excel assessment, do a zoom interview with team management, and then do a mock 10 minute presentation on information sent to me in a PowerPoint.

Also side note she tried to use the word hyperbole, said hyper bowl, and it wasn't even in the right context. I giggled internally.
Well do you want this job bad enough?
You're never ever fully dressed without a smile!

My opportunity costs are mostly free time.
