I felt like the last two episodes were kinda rushed and they speed rushed four of the Seven. I did like how the psycho brother seemed to get more sane and empathetic as the show went on.Yeah I agree with the first bit. They slowly defeat 3 of them, then BAM! They basically just 1-shot the remaining 4 within an episode. The fights are definitely my biggest gripe with this otherwise great show.
I know you said you've already seen Trigun, but have you seen Trigun Stampede? It came up in a topic a couple weeks back and good things were said about it. I know I was reluctant to it when I first saw its trailer years ago because I love the original, but I watched some clips after reading through that topic and it actually looks pretty amazing and I hope to have the time to give it a watch myself.No Milly no watch! idk it doesnt interest me that much personally. I love the handdrawn of Trigun and seeing all that CGI kinda puts me off a bit >_>

No the original anime is much closer to the manga than Stampede is.

Personally, the 2 manga are the best way to experience Trigun. The original anime shorted Wolfwood and Legato and doesn't even use all the Gung-Ho guns. Stampede has already changed a bunch but it at least looks like it's going to cover the Wolfwood stuff.
