Wouldn't the alleged suspects have to file privacy violation charges, thus outing themselves ?

Criminals are already stupid enough to complain about their mugshot on Facebook, this shit ain't not doing nothing.

It might seem like bullshit at first, but something like this happened to my sis-in-law. She does door dash and brought food to the wrong house... realized her mistake and went over to pick it up and take it to the correct place.

The woman who lives there had a doorbell cam and posted the video online and told some bullshit story about how she was stolen from, even though she didn't order any food. IDK if she really thought sis was stealing something of hers or if she just wanted to start some drama and get some internet attention, but either way, sis was able to explain the situation to some folks and have that video taken down.

BTW, she said that she had noticed the camera and even apologized and explained the situation when she went to grab the order and take it to the right place, and that lady still posted the video online and claimed to be a victim.

I would hope situations like that are rare, but yeah, it can happen that an innocent person gets falsely reported as being a thief by someone who's ignorant or trying to start drama.
God forbid you ever had to walk a mile in her shoes, 'cause then you really might know what it's like to have to choose. - Everlast

It was against Facebook TOS to post mugshots at one point. I'm not sure about now.
"It was horrible," guard Jeff McInnis said.
"I took 100 naps and we were still in the air."
To this I say:
Fuck you. Anyone who wrongs me must be destroyed.
