Readily okay with piracy if it's the only means to play or preserve lost content.
Old Nintendo games for example.
If someone wants to pirate Faxanadu on the NES because it's not on NSO, and won't spend $4000 on buying it second hand from a collector, I don't really care.
I usually rent most of my movies I want to watch on Amazon anyway.
you should use apple tv to rent. same prices but better streaming quality imo

Piracy isn't theft, nothing is being stolen".
I don't think I'll ever willingly give money to Apple.
Is sharing streaming passwords piracy? I'm not paying for it and I'm accessing all of this content.
got a big brain hereYou're the one who mentioned "stealing art".
It's 10.66

thats fair i guess although i don't think amazon is much more ethical if thats your reasoning
Another thread where people rationalize theft.
All I can say to media purveyors is just fucking make it easy to pay you and for me to get my content. If I get a better product from piracy easier than you can give it to me what the fuck are you even doing in the business?
Another thread where people rationalize theft.you're right, theft is wrong
... doesn't every streamer let you run multiple devices at the same time and have several accounts for other people? don't think this is a good analogy.I looked it up and it's in fact illegal but no one seems to care lol.
you're right, theft is wrong

If the only method available to obtain something is through the second hand market, fuck it, not going to feed collectors and scalpers greed addictions
Otherwise I find currently (tho certainly doesn't seem it will be this way much longer) that piracy is more inconvenient than 'legitimate' methods so there isn't a major benefit to it ATM beyond out of print media
