a film bro is someone who claims to love movies but has a limited view/interest of/in. almost exclusively watches movies with men as leads, loves nolan, villeneuve, fincher, tarantino, coen bros, scorsese, kubrick, etc. doesn't like watching stuff made before 1970. only foreign movies he's seen were in school or oscar stuff like parasite. thinks american psycho and wolf of wall street are aspirational instead of 'get a load of this asshole' movies

I don't know this because I don't care about some subset of the population and what they like. The irony is calling me condescending when what you just wrote is condescending, as are most of your posts.
I also like all the movies you listed, but I also like all the stuff you listed that they don't watch. Poor Things, Anatomy of a Fall, and Past Lives are all among my favorite movies this year, but I don't think you have even seen them. How can you claim to love movies when you don't watch the vast majority of modern movies that are acclaimed, even the ones outside of your supposed "film bro" stratosphere?
I am not trying to be condescending. I am trying to be inclusive of all movies, while you clearly have set up walls of what should and should not be considered good.
