Speaking of Wo Long, I played it in december, and as I usually do when I played games I know Phil played previously, I looked up a this is how you don't play and I found it legitimately shocking. The game definitely has issues, but essentially every complaint he has about the game is due to his own incompetence. I've watched two hours of him play truncated, so about half the game and he still doesn't understand how the spirit system (the game's version of stamina) works or enemy stuns. He keeps complaining about enemies popping out of nowhere, which literally every time is him not bothering to look around before rushing into combat. The game is incredibly easy compared to Nioh or Sekiro, but he somehow managed to have over a hundred deaths by the end of the game's fifth main mission level. I think I had 44 by the end of NG.
I honestly don't think I've ever seen such blatant incompetence from Phil as this playthrough. Even in DS3 when he started blaming the Xbox for causing too much lag for him to play competently, it was nothing like this. And the incessant whining is just insane. How can you be a lets player and not feel some sort of obligation to not cry like a fucking baby every single moment you're playing a game, even if you're disliking it. You can either choose to not play it or you can express your issues more maturely and not repeating the same fucking whine over and over again. Of course, the money buff was strong during this playthrough as he was successfully blackmailing the dents to not ragequit it.
