Politics in songs are only okay when they agree with them, otherwise it's "why did they have to get political/stick to x/etc."

This is similar to how I feel whenever people go "muh free speech!" I guarantee many that rant and rave about free speech only actually believe in it whenever they're the ones talking or if someone else is saying something that they agree with. If someone says something that they don't like, then they'll be outraged.
