Are you going to answer any of the criticisms of your OP I raised? I can't speak for 2019/2020 Biden but I imagine the reasons listed in the article were why he at times he was considering and other times wasn't.
It wasn't a sure thing like I thought, but it was definitely a consideration which I think is still noteworthy. For example from the article:
Another top Biden adviser put it this way: Hes going into this thinking, I want to find a running mate I can turn things over to after four years but if thats not possible or doesnt happen then Ill run for reelection. But hes not going to publicly make a one term pledge.
So does that mean Harris is a not a good running mate? Also, why would the article having been written before he was elected make a difference? If he wasn't elected then he would've been a zero-term president. No way could I see him retrying in 2024 if he lost in 2020.
