Probably in response to so many of our youths getting more and more jaded with Japanese society and culture.

There wouldn't be one; Japan is in the way. This would be a tsunami threat to the Sea of Japan area.

I live in Japan. It was 7 in a really small area. Most prefectures felt a magnitude of 3.

If this was Facebook, we'd absolutely see people saying it's a sign, probably accompanied by Bible quotes. It's perplexing thar so many people see earthquakes as remarkable, like they almost never happen. The National Earthquake Information Center locates around 20,000 per year, and some estimates put the total number of measurable quakes at as much as 500,000 per year. Every time there's an article about one, however, here comes the Bible references and the end is nigh.
I'm not here for friends. I'm here for the truth to the best of my knowledge of it, even if it's not what people want to hear.
Has there been anything about a tsunami hitting land or expecting it to? Or any damage from the quake itself? I just keep seeing quake hits japan, which doesn't explain much.

The tsunami has been hitting. It's a definite danger for anyone too close to the sea but I don't think it's enough to wash away houses or anything. Also some old houses collapsed, caught fire, etc. from the quake itself. A lot of aftershocks too which is very scary for the people there.

It's definitely a big deal but looks like hopefully there won't be a lot of fatalities.
And who are you, my little friend? Not a spoon... not a fork... but something in between. A fpoon. What will you think of next, Germany?
