I still have a couple of decade-old Android tablets (Nexus 7 and some Samsung one), a little party light, and a chargeable lighter that keep me hanging on to micro USB cables, but I'm definitely not buying anything that doesn't charge with USB C from now on.

Kindle, vape pen, Ps4 controllers. I was literally just thinking about how it's weird to have relatively modern tech still using micro USB.
How quaint.
almost exclusively

I avoid products that use USB-C as much as possible

I only have a third party PS4 controller that uses USB-C but I have it plugged in and use it as a wired controller as I hate battery times for controllers

controllers should never be wireless, it was an absolutely idiotic idea to begin with and I hope it goes away ASAP
they're not portable devices and you only use them at home near your system they're paired with and once the battery dies you're forced to keep it wired at all times anyway, so even at it's best it's a temporary feature
wireless functionality for a controller is completely redundant and only wastes battery and semi-conductor resources for the rest of the world
it should be illegal to make such wasteful and short sighted products
Kill the legs first, that's an ironclad battle tactic!

My Sony A7SII uses micro USB to connect an external recorder/monitor. It's the absolute worst and the biggest point of failure in my rig. Otherwise a fantastic camera. I'm upgrading soon solely because of that and 10bit color.

Technically my mouse, although it also has a charging dock so the port is only really used as a backup.
Fan of metal? Don't mind covers? Check out my youtube and give me some feedback

A portable light, and a couple of PS4 controllers. That's it.

EDIT: No wait, my Bluetooth headphones too.

Bose bluetooth speaker. The battery charger for my camera.
Fact: Nintendo is the best, there is no point denying it.

Mine doesnt have that, but it does have a tight grip over the cable, so any finickyness shouldnt be an issue.

Aside from that i do have other devices lying around, i just dont use them.

PS4 Controller and my old S7 Edge are the only 2 i can think off... aside from the mouse.

..no wait i do also have my headset, but i dont use it much either.

I think thats it.

Early models had a proprietary connector, later models had micro USB.

Damn... lucky you then.

Easier to replace, than this chunky thing.

The plug on the console is solid enough, but i did have to buy 2 replacement cables after the first one started falling apart (literally the plastic cover fell off)

Oh yeah crap, totally forgot my Kindle has micro USB. Damn. I want to only have USB C devices but I don't need to replace my Kindle yet.

Also didn't know PS4 uses micro USB, interesting. Still using my PS3.

I sympathize with your last line about wastefulness but for convenience, not having wires in a controller is really nice. Don't have to worry about cord length when seated on the couch and no tripping over wires.
