I avoid products that use USB-C as much as possible
Technically my mouse, although it also has a charging dock so the port is only really used as a backup.Mine doesnt have that, but it does have a tight grip over the cable, so any finickyness shouldnt be an issue.
PlayStation VitaHow so? Mine doesnt have any. Modified charging port?
How so? Mine doesnt have any. Modified charging port?Early models had a proprietary connector, later models had micro USB.
Early models had a proprietary connector, later models had micro USB.Damn... lucky you then.
almost exclusivelyI sympathize with your last line about wastefulness but for convenience, not having wires in a controller is really nice. Don't have to worry about cord length when seated on the couch and no tripping over wires.
I avoid products that use USB-C as much as possible
I only have a third party PS4 controller that uses USB-C but I have it plugged in and use it as a wired controller as I hate battery times for controllers
controllers should never be wireless, it was an absolutely idiotic idea to begin with and I hope it goes away ASAP
they're not portable devices and you only use them at home near your system they're paired with and once the battery dies you're forced to keep it wired at all times anyway, so even at it's best it's a temporary feature
wireless functionality for a controller is completely redundant and only wastes battery and semi-conductor resources for the rest of the world
it should be illegal to make such wasteful and short sighted products
