LOL this fucking shit is slowly becoming cable TV again.
You, take a bump. Flatback.
But still better than cable.

Even though cable companies are trying to make their own streaming boxes or modernize somewhat, they still try to restrict when and how you can watch.

Nothing pisses off a cable company more than watching YouTube TV or Hulu TV customers take their TV on vacation wherever they go.

Most cable companies still expect you to have your phone or tablet on your home Wi-Fi to access your content.

I don't like how science channel keeps getting screwed though. It's really hard to get it live or include the American narrator for how it's made.

I'm like 90% sure Tiny Toon Adventures was on Nick when I was a kid.

That and Animaniacs were on Fox, though it's possible reruns of them aired on Nick.

Huh, was kind of expecting WBD would merge with NBCUniversal instead of Paramount. Maybe Comcast wasn't willing to pay as much as Zaslav wanted to get?

I'm old enough to remember watching Looney Tunes on Nick. This was before Nick even had its own cartoons.

It did. I don't think Animaniacs aired on Nick, but I know Tiny Toons did.

Tiny Toons started out as syndicated before moving to Fox later. That's how it was able to be on Nick.

Animaniacs definitely aired on Nick years later. They had a modified intro where they mentioned it at the end.

Yep then there was the Pinky and the brain Nick opening where they plastered the Nick logo all over it.

Pinky and the Brain also aired on Nick with a modified intro, though since there wasn't a Simpsons couch gag-style replaceable line in the theme song they could change to something like "Nick-el-aney", they instead slapped the Nickelodeon logo everywhere :

They debuted on Fox, and after they ended, reruns would air on Nick, then years later would air on Cartoon Network.

This. Late 80's, early 90's IIRC. I was a country boy with no cable, but on the weekends I stayed with my grandparents in the city, and got to watch Looney Tunes and Inspector Gadget on Nick on Saturday nights.

EDIT found the old intro from that time. Boy it takes me back.

Yeah, I remember watching the debut episode of Tiny Toons, and also when Nicktoons first debuted. They didn't have their own internal animation studio until 1991. Everything before that was mostly older cartoons.
