We need to outlaw subcriptions on car features.
Unironically make it life imprisonent for doing subscriptions on anything that is either already physically in the car you purchased, legally required, a standard safety feature or historically a basic feature or essential feature of most vechiles such as radio, AC/Heat, etc.
Also ban remote disabling. That shit 100% will get someone late on their payment(or a victim of clerical/software errors) stranded dangerously, frozen to death or killed by a poorly timed stop.
Same needs to apply to other things in many businesses.
We need BRUTAL aggresive crackdowns on false advertising, hidden fees, unsafe products, exploitive subscriptions, poor working conditions, price fixing etc.
Long prison sentences, massive fines to the company AND leadership. Even the death penalty in extremely flagrant cases of unsafe workplaces/products or for...well a lot of pharmaceutical/insurance/related companies bullshit which what they have done is often effectively willful mass murder(no not talking vaccines. Fuck anti vaxxers) I am talking price gouging/fixing of essential surgerys/medications and knowingly mass denying valid claims.
