why the fuck is a lead mod making accusations of sex crimes what the fuck
Makes me wonder if any idols watched Jobless Reincarnation then lol
I mean...unless it's straight up porn we as fans just seem to just "let it go." Trying to introduce someone to death note right now to get them off that stigma about the genre. If you're trying to get someone into anime, I'd also recommend the GOATs like Monster, FMA: Brotherhood, and Steins Gate. Monster, especially doesn't lean into any of the typical anime tropes and it's just a straight up crime thriller.
Terminally online Kpop fans are in a constant state of trying to get groups/members of groups they don't like (or are competition for their personal favorite group) cancelled over any random accusations they can throw at the wall, this isn't newsYeah, I love the music, but I stay the hell away from hardcore Kpop fans. They're crazy lol

Ngl, these people sound like they just want to be mad. Made In Abyss is not like some obscure series. Is every several millions of people who consumed it pedophile? Like is there even one that's fully convicted? If one, that's one in a million. You'd be hard pressed to make that statistics even remotely correlating to pedophilia in any way.
In fact there were recently some pretty damning stuff that people who vehemently accuse people of sexual deviancy are more likely to be deviants themselves. A lot of recent Twitter/Reddit tactics have been to just look up the person's handle on a sex criminal registry, and many people have spent jail time over it. It does actually explain why they're so against it, since they faced serious repercussion due to their deviancy. I do feel these people in particular have merits in what they go up against, but they can't expect others to join in on the severity of their opposition

Handle: straptesters.
lol it never fails
It's just one of these weird cascading things where you have
Guy who makes the anime might be creepy/pedo/etc. : Okay reasonable, cancel the guy
People who like the anime might be supporting a bad person: Okay borderline cancellable but I understand going after a celebrity for who/what they associate with if it's unclear
People who like people who like the anime are supporting a person supporting a bad person: okay who tf cares

"reasonable"
kpop idols getting cancelled isnt news. one idol got criticized because she ate a strawberry with two hands. For real?
I've only watched the anime, I kinda got the vibe that the author might be into loli from the first season and the designs, but it never got so bad that I thought that much about it. Then i later saw the manga stuff and was like yeah that's his thing and they toned down all that in anime by a lot.
for what it's worth, i think the show is amazing, but god damn it's so brutal to children that it can be tough to stomach at times
