Haven't seen Meet Me in St. Louis, On the Town, or Mildred Pierce.
very disappointing bspI know... I have explained that I am playing catch up, and my marriage from 2000 to 2016 ruined my movie watching for a long ass time. Luckily, my new wife is much better about letting me do what I want
gonna have to set some firm ground rules with the woman i marry i guessI wouldn't put too much energy in creating the list.

The Philadelphia Story
Singin' in the Rain
The Maltese Falcon
Citizen Kane
North by Northwest
But none of them actuality on TCM. The only thing I ever watched on TCM back in the day was there October horror lineup, the three stooges, and the occasional random thing that caught my eye. I remember seeing Death Rage 2000 once and it was some kind of special late night showing where they showed nudity. No idea how that worked.
Wow... I'm surprised Psycho and The Birds didn't make the list. Both of those are fantastic movies.
Only Casablanca, which I loved. Been wanting to see The Maltese Falcon.
Appreciate you typing out this list though, now I know about North by Northwest

I go back and forth on whether North by Northwest or Rear Window is my favorite of Hitchcock's films
north by northwest is basically proto-james bond. if he were a regular guy ensnared in some kind of spy conspiracy plot. also if instead of hitting up venice and rio and tokyo he hit up kansas and north dakota. but yeah it came out 3 years before dr no. it even has a bond girl type character.
its pretty incredible. also the only movie on this list longer than 2 hours!

I actually just saw it a few days ago. On a Hitchcock kick. I said to my wife during the movie, "this seems like basically the first James Bond movie, although he is not a spy".

Never seen any and really only know of them from references... Not interested in any of them though...
