GPT is the standard by which all others are measured. I remember the jump from Markov chain gibberish to GPT-2 a year or two ago. When ChatGPT came out, everyone panicked and realized how far behind they were. Your LLM could no longer just be an internal research project. Set it public or die. And there is no decent alternative at the moment.
