one of my DnD characters is coming to a close soon as the campaign is nearing the climax
he's a Tiefling Wizard

i was considering buying like a Tiefling horns setup and wear that for the last session, just cause i think that's funny
i found a set on amazon that can go over the headphones band

if any of the DnD players here saw that, would you consider that cool/funny or cringy as fuck?

I think it's awesome... I wore a dragon horn headband when I was DMing and introduced the party to a Kobold party member NPC... I'd do full costume for one of my played characters though...

this is what i had in mind

if i'm reading it right, it's like a velcro strap that you bind around a headset band

I think it'd be fucking rad and you should absolutely do it.

My girl plays an Elf Rogue and she picked up some elf ears at the Renaissance Fair and now wears them to DnD.

We all thought they were great

as we play over Discord, i would need to be able to use it while wearing headphones

Ah, those are awesome... I'd definitely do it... Especially for a last session... It's a nice send off...

I'm lucky that I play in oersona and have to worry about props not working with headphones...

i don't use Amazon that often, are there ways to ask question to the vendor?
nevermind, i found it

it has no reviews of any kind, should that be a concern?

I wear cat ears and use a few different instruments when playing as my tabaxi bard. Theres no limit to RP.
oh shit, shipping and handling is more than the cost of the item
Kremlin delenda est
i want it, but getting anything shipped from america to here is fucking hassle

Hell yeah, do that! Sounds epic af!

What you may be able to do is locate a local 3d print shop

that's an idea. i'll have to look into that

i'll look over some basic cosplay videos or something tomorrow, see if i can just make something simple

Ok, i saw a DIY youtube video showing how to make horns by rolling up aluminium foil, so i'm gonna try that

Where the hell does one buy headbands?

Any grocery or big box retail store tbh.

One would think so, but i checked one of the local grocery stores, and only ones i could find were like childrens size
Kremlin delenda est
You could by your local secondhand or antique shops. Good chance theres one of those kitsch deer skulls or whatever. Just saw em off.

had to go thorugh like 3-4 stores but i got the stuff
who would have thought it would be so difficult to find a headband

wanted to get a hot glue gun, but the hardware store only had coloured glitter gluesticks, and that's not what i want

Nerd stuff is always great, and if it's DnD / d20 related, it's even greater.

I got some dicelings (red and black dragon) for my last birthday, they are awesome.
Planning is the process of replacing chance with error.
what's a diceling?

that is freaking cool, i want one
can they actually be used as balanced dice or are they mostly for display?

When we play in person, one of our players brings the Eye of Agamotto from the Doctor Strange movie to use as his spell casting focus. It's battery powered and opens up with a green light inside, just like the movie.

Props and costume pieces are fun stuff, they celebrate the characters, and they lend to the immersion of the players, I say do it.

I write Naruto Fanfiction. But I am definitely not a furry.
One of the guys in my party wore a cloak to our last session. It was fine. Whatever helps you bring out your in game character is always a plus.

Hey what are those tree miniature things? I have the tile set and some chests/doors/barrels etc but some trees n bushes n shit would be cool too
Common sense says it may not taste good, but it'll make a turd.
while on the subject of props, this same Wizard character has a Familiar in the shape of a Parrot, so i bought a stuffed animal parrot that i place on my desk when the game is going and just play with it now and then

No, they are definitly not balanced at all.

But in a casual round, who cares? It's definitly chaotic enough to be sure that you can't cheat, since no one can even guess which result is favored.
