People always overly scrutinize the performance of non-VAs when they do voice work.
I think one of the issues with Ronda is Bridgette Wilson came out of retirement after not doing anything for years and was a better Sonya voice actor. And she is a non-VA. So you had someone to compare to from the same game showing how bad she is.
