Been playing it on gamepass.
So far there are VERY few changes to the demo, in terms of level design and enemy placement. A few enemies in different places, one larger-sized enemy that wasn't there before, and a new stargazer got put next to a boss room. So all the rather dull straight corridors and empty squares from the demo are still there, and all the trash mob enemies shuffling around are still there. Dark Souls games often start up with those basic zombie enemies that shuffle around, but as you move forward the basic mob enemies can wreck you pretty easily. Haven't seen that yet in this game but I'm sure it will get to that point eventually. I know from the demo that some of the trash mob guys you start fighting right before the last boss in the demo start getting a bit more tricky...I'm almost at that point in the finished game.
The bosses are the only real challenge, I'm finding it easier than the demo though that might be from knowing what to expect in terms of the block system, though I really found the demo bosses frustratingly difficult and in the finished version I've beaten the first two and a couple giant non-boss enemies with only one or two tries. Still finding the block system pretty tricky and clumsy. I guess the basic dodge is more effective than in the demo, but I'm mostly just blocking and being aggressive.
Used the rapier in the demo, using the saber in this, dunno if they rebalanced things but the saber seems a lot better to me especially against bosses.
