I didn't do this previously because my tree barely produced apples, but then half of it fell over last year and now I have a ton.

I picked them fresh yesterday before I made it. Then peeled and diced them. My peeler fucking sucks though, that part just pissed me off.

Pretty damn good!
For my first attempt I really can't see much to change.
It is a little tarter than most pies, but that is because of the apples. I still don't actually know what kind of apples they are.

Once when I was little, my friends mother did the same. I got sick after eating a piece, though I cannot say for certain the pie was at fault. After that, I couldnt eat apple pie for at least a decade.

Nice. Growing up, we always grilled lemon chicken with the marinade made from lemons from our yard. Made it taste that much better.

Depending on how the lemons turned out that season, we'd also serve freshly made lemonade.
