brother hood is a generic shonen complete with ed being able to just pull shit out of his ass and punch his way through problemsWhat??? Edward never really shows much combat expertise. Brotherhood is the complete opposite of your typical shounen. In fact that's something I look back fondly about it. It was never about Edward training to get stronger or him getting a power boost or something. Most of the story works in all the characters and everybody contributes something.
