There was a Mod a long time ago who came to the UK board, deleted a topic about US politics, claimed UK users couldn't comment on it but was told by another Mod he was wrong, SBAllen apologised.

I can't remember if he was demodded or if he quit on his own, Iooked was the username

20 years ago, any mod could look at a person's usermap. But I'm sure they changed it.

Now that most routers are dynamic, I doubt the information is very reliable anyway. A guy could have a million alts and a mod would never know if theyre all on different IP addresses.
