bethesda has successfully outsourced making a complete game to the public.its sad that this is true
People really come out of the woodwork when a Bethesda game comes out to say they never liked them, and they are actually bad games.i am this way with civ 4
People really come out of the woodwork when a Bethesda game comes out to say they never liked them, and they are actually bad games. The way certain folks would have you believe Bethesda is a critically panned and unsuccessful studio that releases unplayable buggy flops every several years
This is the main reason I couldnt play Skyrim. The combat just felt so garbage
The way certain folks would have you believe Bethesda is a critically panned and unsuccessful studio that releases unplayable buggy flops every several yearsYep, I just presume they're trying to be cringey edgelords for internet clout.
Some folks need to go out and touch grass lol
Swordplay isn't exactly Witcher 3's strong suit either and that's perhaps one of the top 5 RPGs ever made.Im not huge on Witcher 3 either tbh. Im usually a gameplay over story type of person, and in games where im mostly in it for story, I find i usually like turn based better.
It's always been about exploration, role-playing, and simply being part of a great narrative.
Yep, I just presume they're trying to be cringey edgelords for internet clout.I dont think anyone in this topic has gotten anywhere near trying to get clout for not thinking bethesda is 10/10. Its possible to not like a game just because you dont like it
I enjoyed the combat The Witcher 3 and Fallout 4...There are literally dozen of us!
I dont think anyone in this topic has gotten anywhere near trying to get clout for not thinking bethesda is 10/10. Its possible to not like a game just because you dont like it
to the ppl defending bethesda in this topic WHY is it ok for them to release buggy unfinished gamesIt's a feature , not a bug.
The same way that Pokemon still has vehement defenders of it's IP is all that needs to be said. Bethesda has been doing open world Bethesda games with little to minimum changes between them for 20 years now, same with Pokemon. Except this time it's in space, while still retaining that classic Bethesda jank & a deja vu where you feel like you've done this before.Because it just works
People really come out of the woodwork when a Bethesda game comes out to say they never liked them, and they are actually bad games. This, I was just thinking since when is CE so anti Bethesda, are those considered too hardcore gamer (tm) these days?.
Skyrim melee combat isDidn't almost everyone go stealth archer?
bethesda has successfully outsourced making a complete game to the public. This pretty much. Always wait like a year to buy a new Bethesda game, all the community fixes, script extenders and what they enable, and QOL mods will make the game actually good.
This pretty much. Always wait like a year to buy a new Bethesda game, all the community fixes, script extenders and what they enable, and QOL mods will make the game actually good. This right here. Ive said repeatedly Im not interested in any Bethesda game until theres a script extender and plenty of mods.
Why does genuine criticism of their games always get deflected with "oh so you never liked Bethesda games? Lolok"https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/9/5/5/AAcjXVAADwd7.jpg
Some real Game Freak brain going on in these topics
*sees everyone and their grandma knock any Bethesda game that comes out for shitty combat*The games are extremely critically and commercially successful yet the combat has not gotten better, or even changed that much throughout the years. Yes, outside of dying message boards the combat clearly gets a pass.
DO they get a pass?
Didn't almost everyone go stealth archer?Everyone goes stealth archer so you dont have to actually deal with skyrims combat lol.
Why does genuine criticism of their games always get deflected with "oh so you never liked Bethesda games? Lolok"It's also odd that the excuse is to "gain clout" on fucking gamefaqs lmao
Some real Game Freak brain going on in these topics
Skyrim came out pre Dark souls really revolutionising medieval melee combat right? Is Dark Souls doing anything Ocarina of Time didn't do already?
Skyrim came out pre Dark souls really revolutionising medieval melee combat right?dark souls actually came out before skyrim.
I feel like the next elder scrolls game will get a bit more in depth with swordplay
This is the main reason I couldnt play Skyrim. The combat just felt so garbageJust mad cause you took an arrow to the knee.
It's also odd that the excuse is to "gain clout" on fucking gamefaqs lmaoI made all of my gamefaqs friends by talking shit on Bethesda's bad game mechanics
small indie studio please understand
Skyrim melee combat is literally minecraft level of trading hits until one of you dies
