Hope you do recover, we are assuming at this point that my wife had permanent damage. She lost her sense of taste and smell during covid and lost it for months, it's been a couple years and she said the best it ever came back is maybe 60% to date.

Damn, I don't know how I'd go with months of this. Hopefully that doesn't happen to me.

Though honestly I'd take even 60% at this point, but damn is it a little anxiety inducing knowing I have no idea if it'll come back normal or not.

I feel like I have about 5% taste. I can still taste salt, but most other flavors are just... nothing lol.

Yesterday my smell and taste would come back in spurts. I'd be able to smell something one time, and like 25 min later I realize I can't smell again. Same with my taste, but I think a lot of the diminished taste is just due to losing smell while eating.

I also hope none of this turns into long covid. >_>
