Lots of people, many indigenous just go missing from Highway 16. By 2005 it got so bad police had to try harder to look into it. Though the only thing the police could figure out is that theres not one but multiple serial killers out there. Everyone out there is so isolated when someone gets snatched, hardly anyone ever notices.
In 1989, an entire family went missing, convinced to leave in the middle of the night to go work. The last thing the husband told his mother before hanging up was "if I dont come back, come looking for me".
