He is viable in all but one Smash game (Brawl, he was hilariously bad in that game).
In Smash 4, his dash grab was essentially a teleport grab with how much distance he would get and how active the frames were.
In Ultimate, he's considered high tier due to his sheer stock exploding nature and momentum carry. All he needs is one dair to knee true combo and congratulations, you died at 40 or 50%. The issue is Steve, Aegis, Snake and Min Min literally tell him "no, stop trying."
