why regeneration would be a dumb choice.

As multiple people ITT have pointed out, cellular regeneration, organ regeneration, etc etc.

You're essentially immortal unless you throw yourself into a pit of lava.

The way regeneration works in DBZ is, you lose body parts and have the ability to grow them back within seconds. You still experience excruciating pain from the injury, and it also takes a lot of energy to regenerate. You are FAR from immortal. lol

How does it work in AoT?

While in human form, titans can regen as well, it's just slow and doesn't seem painful, though it does weaken them while regen is happening. I also think they can't turn titan again until completely regenned but I'm not 100% sure about that.

yeah, i feel like if it's specified 'from DBZ' then the move has to follow the DBZ rules
it shouldn't matter how it works in marvel if we're talking about dragonball

There's a time and place for everything... but not now.
There are multiple ways regeneration can work even in a single universe, tho.

Heartomaton for President 2028.
Are we talking Majin Buu regeneration? He doesn't use any energy to regenerate, and your pain tolerance will go up as you get blown to pieces more and more.

Piccolo/Namek regeneration would suck

but none of them that i'm aware of in dragonball (please note: i don't watch super nor do i consider it canon (subnote: i am aware it is canon, that does not mean i have to like it and i choose to instead live in the land of make-believe where it's not canon)) make you immortal.

super is better than anything db/z/gt ever did

There's nothing wrong with namekian regeneration. The problem is people comparing namekians to Majin Buu when instead you should be comparing namekians to humans. When Piccolo loses an arm that shit just grows back. When Tien lost an arm that thing stayed gone.
Who is? I am!
