Arise-Heart is considered one of the strongest boss monsters ever made, so it's warranted. Imo they shouldn't have banned Chaos Ruler. I just think he's cute (or sh...she?)

Them limiting Magnamhut made its price tank quite a bit though. Comparatively, everybody expected a Fenrir hit and nothing happened, and now it's more than double the lowest price point b4 the banlist.

My AW field gor Dark Hole'd in the event, then opponent proceed to summon many many spiders.

Then Dark Hole'd themselves so they can OTK me for over ten thousands.

Lately I begin to think that Unicorn might have been the better choice than Fenrir in my PUNK, simply because Unicorn can search Birth.

Madame Spider + Unicorn = Baronne, use Birth to bring back Unicorn. Very nice, imo.

Yeah I've seen ppl just straight up run 3 Unicorn and Birth, 3 Instant Contact. Seems in PUNKs, Unicorn/Birth is more important than Fenrir, though it's hard to find 2 other pieces more valuable than Fenrir atm.

Also random quote from Joshua Schmidt: "YGO's been alive for what... 25 years? Links have been alive for around 5, and already they are by far the most banned ED mechanic"

Also another thing shocking was Merrli ban alone has actually adequately nerfed Tears... It's crazy that Elf and Kitkallos can stay alive long term just by banning Merrli. Maybe MD was cooking cuz it really does kinda turn out that Merrli was the most powerful Tear card overall, because she has a decent on-summon effect and is a lvl 2, since Sprind is never getting banned cuz it's pretty balanced

Happens every time. Having one piercer that also does something on the side in the ED is valuable, cuz you just never know sometimes. Not that I carry one. White Woman L5 is basically like one anyways lol

Also funny enough, somebody was playing my initial idea for the animal fest, which was Zoo control, vs my Melffy TriZoo, which has a staggering win rate in this event, like 20-3 or something crazy. It was literally unbeatable when played right, only loses to Raigeki/ST clear into OTK.

Zoo Control got absolutely washed. They had some strength on the monster with some protection, but it was like man... my deck has Imperm for trap neg, Droplets for spell neg (not that you can respond), and a billion monster destroy/neg option. No amount of attachment to a single Zoo was gonna accomplish anything.

The traps he was using were also a bit bizarre. I think the idea was he magic cylinder/burns me just enough to OTK with Boarbow. Guess whether or not it was effective (it was not)

Branded being mostly legal for the fusion/xyz is definitely an agenda. Konami likes Maxx C so the other event doesn't ban Maxx C (I won a duel where the opponent Maxx C'd me twice, drawing them 4 total card. But my deck is oppressively good for the animales event). Instead they fucking limit D.D. Crow, a card that is only mildly useful in this event. They're lucky I only own 1 Royal Rare Crow.

Somebody at Konami loves Branded, so Branded got basically nothing touched. I look forward to dueling Branded vs my shit Branded Tear slapped ass deck.

For the Fusion/Xyz festival, I'm doing something that I never thought I would do again... I am normal summoning Aleister . I was planning on trying to use Generaiders on my side account (an Xyz-focused strategy) for the festival but then I saw that there were separate missions for Fusion and Xyz summoning instead of combining them into just one challenge where you could do either. Then I realized that the Generaiders had a bunch of different attributes to work with Aleister/Invocation, and that Invoked Mechaba is level 9 so it indirectly works with some of the Generaider support as well. So I decided to turn my deck from Generaiders into Invoked Generaiders so I can Fusion and Xyz summon with the same deck and knock out both challenges at once.

Meanwhile on my main account, I have no Fusion decks and my only decent Xyz deck was murdered into unplayability by Zoodiac Boarbow being banned in the event. So on that account, I'm saying fuck those two missions and just playing Mikankos.

Just remembered that one of my burn attempts failed because I failed my Pot of Greed coin toss.

I had a duel against a Blue Eyes player playing some weird shit like Deep-Eyes and Abyss and shit.

I never saw anybody draw that many normally useless cards, have the craziest fucking combination of cards that made them literally unoutable. He had 2 Jet Dragons, get the Deep-Eyes activation AND Jet Dragon activation from a Mirrorjade field clear, and also had Blue Eyes in Grave with a Trade-In combo...

I genuinely dunno if he's drawn any useless card. He later even drew a Bystial that banished my DPE. His deck isn't even real. I saw the list and I just don't see how without drawing like he did against me, he does anything. All that Deep-Eyes and Jet Dragon reliance just... doesn't work. He doesn't have enough searchers

My best RR to this day is still SwSo Chungus. The guy is generally considered a second fiddle to Baronne, but people often forget that most lvl 10 builds also just end up putting both in there anyways. He's a far better game closer than Baronne and won me many many duels

Second best is technically D.D. Crow, but ever since Tears went to hell, he's probably gonna be a bit less godly.

My best royal was my Borreload Savage Dragon...that I dismantled and regretted it sooooooo much.
