Kickass game.

Made me sad we never got a sequel or a (decent) 3D worms game.

I'm told the PC version is complete garbage. Allegedly they couldn't fix the AI so to compensate made the enemies stand still but have pitch perfect aim. That's pathetic if true but I never played it on PC.

The PS1 version is excellent and I highly reccomend anyone who has a PS1 or PS2 kicking about to give it a go.

But good lord beating the Campaign the 2nd time around (Hard Mode) is a nightmare. Especially if you leave no Pig behind like I do. You have to exploit the crap out of the bad AI

Even in normal mode the campaign is pretty solid.

That level where you're in the farmhouse in the crater is a hell of a difficulty spike.

For me the difficult spike is the level with all the Spies (and they get reinforcements too)

They're everywhere and for that part of the game have high HP, TNT and Sniper Rifles.

The game also throws 2 medals in the middle of the map in a box to distract you. I'm not even sure what the intended way to beat that level and get the medals was (without exploiting the AI) the levels afterwards are way easier.
