Apple Music is better, though it's interface is a bit clunkierThey both have pros and cons
They both have pros and consApple let's you steam in FLAC and they pay artists more.
Spotify has a lot of obscure music that Apple Music doesnt have
Apples playlist management is terrible, but also allows you to make bigger playlists
YouTube premium is better anyways.

There's a feature in Apple Music where you can turn off the vocals in most songs and listen to the instrumental, which is a killer app imoDamn, thats a really cool feature. I hope that makes its way to a standard one.

just use sirius god damnI'm surprised they're still around
full bundle paid annually is like $10/mo, and that includes all major LIVE sports, home and away broadcasts
because they know morons will keep paying them anyway.Exactly. All the idiots that pay for shit like YT premium are rewarding them for their ad practices.
just use sirius god damnyeah instead of using a service where you can listen to full albums, pick exactly what song you want to play, and curate your own playlists, you should use the radio

For the obscure stuff I'd just use the free tier on Spotify and deal with the ads
Are they offering hi res audio yet?But they do? I'm not sure how long but it feels like it's been a while since they've offered it.
Because fuck them until they do.
The other issue with Apple music is that itunes is incredibly jank on windows, which is why I haven't bothered ever re-uploading anything to itBoth the iTunes and web/app interfaces are lacking in separate ways imo
But they do? I'm not sure how long but it feels like it's been a while since they've offered it.Very high on Spotify is 320kbps, not lossless like on Apple

Why Apple music sound different btw? It is not because is in flsc either cuz I cant tell diff between flac and 320 kbpsApple uses .aac files which sound better
Apple vs Spotify. Is something other than higher bitrate that make Apple sound better

I'll have to check out Cider. I just got a new laptop a week ago with Windows 11 and was using the Apple Music preview version but it's crashed on me a few times. The only issue is Cider costs $3 or $4 iirc. Easily worth the money though. Has a very customizable UI, supports features like animated/ambient album artwork and has an extensive EQ. There's even user-made plugins you can use to tweak things.

what's the main argument behind these raises in prices? i mean, other than "just cause our competition did"...
Because the lemmings will pay it.Subscribing sounds cheaper. Buying all the music would cost a lot and then theres be the time spent doing that other stuff.
If you want to stream your music, its IMO more cost effective to buy it, rip it, and host it on Jellyfin, then use Finamp. Or Plex and Plexamp.
If you have really obscure stuff like video game extracted music that most stuff cant play, foobar2000 can, and it has a server if you have the know how to set it up.
Fuck Spotify, they dont even offer lossless music, which makes them a joke.

Lol I use Spotify on a browser with ublock
