Tough choice between Chained Echoes and Ys 8. Both are amazing games. It just depends on whether you're looking for a modern or retro experience.

i have heard chained echoes and rise of the third power are both great. i own ys viii and love all the other ys games, just haven't played 8 or 9 yet.

I'm actually planning on playing Rise of the Third Power soon myself.

I'm currently playing and enjoying Ara Fell, which is made by the same people.
