I thought about modding the game since I was semi-familiar with the original, but opted to reexperience the vanilla version. Never modded any of my games, so I'd have to find a tutorial. Getting facial hair that doesn't look like basura would be my foremost priority.
I just followed this video to get started. He tries to make it as simple as possible which it is but you still have to get familiar with some stuff.

Once you get set up and get familiar with how things work it becomes incredibly simple. I am currently flying through adding mods to the game for a complete overhaul. I am mostly just following this guys mod list / install guide which comes highly recommended across the Oblivion community:
