My internet went out yesterday so while I was messing with it I noticed some of the wifi names near me. This is a county that had 70 percent voting for Trump in 2020. My neighbor has Trump signs up, not because Trump is running again but because he never took them down from 2020.

To be fair, I moved in the day after the 2020 election and went with _____ County Democrat Party HQ for my wifi name and these popped up since.

Remember in that Magnum P.I. episode or whatever where poachers cut off a rhino's horn with a chainsaw? That last wifi name reminded me of that.

Like I know they mean RINO, but it wouldn't surprise me if their personal philosophy since Trump has been "fuck 'em all to death".

That's how I view it. I've long since accepted the fact I am deep in red hat territory. I'm used to it, lived in something like it all my life even though 30 years ago it didn't matter like it does today.

I just think it's funny. How often to people change their wifi names or even look it up, there's every chance they are from 2020 like mine and people just forgot about it. (Probably not though)

In this area it's all mostly one company and they use Eero which makes it super easy as well.

Yeah, I'm going to have to look into this one. Our current mayor is one of the old high school science teachers and he is only doing the remaining portion of a term. No idea who Lisa is but I need to do some research clearly. Population of the town is less than 1500 so it can't be that hard to figure out what she's all about.
