Armored Core 6 is going to sell a ton isn't it?

My ONLY experience with the series was a demo of Armored Core 2 (I think it was.) Me and my brothers would do the head to head battle with the very very very limited selection of pieces and just fight each other. We had a bunch of time in the demo but it never really made us want to buy the game.

But I saw some video for 6 and I am very very very intrigued. I'll be buying it. I think the fact that the studio is a MUCH larger name now than it was previously will help a ton. The combat looked super smooth.

Like it won't do Tears of the Kingdom numbers but it will do way better than any of the other previous games, by a wide margin.

It might. It looks solid, and the developers of it have become a mainstay and a household name for gamers, so probably. Plus there are a ton of armored core fans clamouring for a new one.

Ive only ever played the first one back on PS1 as a kid and enjoyed it. I have no knowledge of this series otherwise. Im gonna look into this one though

People just don't like mechs. Fantasy is an easier seller.

Fromsoft is already a mainstream developer. Their name alone is going to be able to sell games. Maybe not to the extent of the Souls series, but it will still net them a profit.

See i agree that fantasy is way more likeable than mechs. But I think the fact that these are the Soulsborne people will get people buying it who aren't really interested in mechs, like myself. It certainly won't sell more than Elden Ring or even the older Souls games but I bet it sells way more copies than the highest selling older Armored Core title just because of the creator and the name recognition they have now.
