BotW felt very basic and empty to me when I tried playing it, but I went into it right after finishing the first Horizon game, so my view may have been a bit swayed by that.I kinda felt the same, but then the Horizon sequel just made it so much bigger and with so many more icons, that I liked the first better. TOTK has been the opposite experience.
