Yes, it is a stupid gimmick but he sticks to the gimmick and his advice is actually good behind that veneer

I think they do a good job but I wouldn't want to encourage the people who would do it poorly by making "Victorian_English_FAQs" or things like that.

I enjoy the gimmick and I appreciate the user as much as I appreciate WWEPropaganda and Complete_Idi0t. I've seen some people be hating, but that's scallywag shit if you ask me.

I was thinking that too. He's my buddy and I'd enjoy the gimmick even more if I knew it was him (he did have a Skyrim Guard gimmick alt at one point that I enjoyed, so it would make sense). The account hasn't followed me though. He usually follows me on new alts that are not immediately clear to be him.

I enjoy it, despite my thinking pirates are overrated.

I don't think Pirate posts too much. Maybe if one happens to check literally every topic on CE it stands out, but I think it's a harmless and amusing gimmick. And if you're not in the mood for it, just keep scrolling.

Award season typically doesnt start until the fall.. and ideally at the end of the year.

This allows for consideration of the HUGE influx of new accounts that are experienced during summer break and Christmas Holidays.
