the cats scratched my inner thigh, right on the crevice behind my knee. basically i was lying around and reading manga on my phone, they zoom around, went up the bed then run around without seeing where my legs are and jeez cats running at full power using your flesh as a launch pad hurts like hell

Saw Kammy after she got shaved earlier in the month. Didn't think to grab a picture, but she is much less chonky without the fur. Swear that girl has some Maine Coone in her ancestry with how thick her coat is.

This is the youngest one now. He was only days old when we got him, and he has had a rough time. Despite his health scares, he is happy go lucky fellow although his left eye the third eye lid has not developed properly.

my cat will only eat salmon flavored stuff. won't touch any other wet food, ignores chicken treats, and I tried to give her a piece of real chicken and she just sniffed it and walked away. she eats lint off the floor any chance she gets, but not chicken

none of my cats growing up were like this, they'd eat anything

so do you guys think it would be wrong to buy my cat crickets to hunt? they're sold as food for other animals, my cat needs to wean off dry food, and they would actually entertain her. and supposedly they're a good source of protein. I only feel bad cause she'd play with them while the other animals they're sold as food for just eat them right away I think. except for snakes? getting eaten by a snake might be worse than getting eaten by a cat

she's tired of most of her toys even though I bought the $30 slithering snake. it gets stuck on too much shit and she only occasionally goes over to smack it and get it unstuck. she loves hunting any bug that manages to get into my apartment.

I didnt bought it specifically for cats to play, but i have fish that eats cricket. Sometimes, i bring a cricket in so the cats play with it >_>

I guess it's cruel, but a lot of things are, it's just a matter of threshold.

Obelix will bring in cockroaches he finds on the balcony and proceed to torment it with his brother, sometimes even unintentionally tearing off legs. I am MORE than okay with this as I hate cockroaches, especially the 3 cm/2 in ones here...

Not a cat pic, but our ~11 year old Chihuahua Leo had surgery Tuesday to repair a collapsed airway. He had trouble breathing and even drinking water, he would throw up afterwards and tended to cough and choke a lot. The vet said three options when we took him to the vet on Monday. Surgery, quality of life choice (my mom and I both said NO to that), or do nothing and he would slowly die a horrible death.
He is doing much better now.
